AS head steward of the Fashion Parades at Wagin Woolorama, Mesha Hall finds it a challenge to find new designers to showcase and inspire country women each year.
She has learnt however, that Western Australia is fortunate to have some amazing talent in the fashion industry.
Over the years Woolorama has seen a selection of these.
This year’s show is no different, and it is exciting to see West Australian cult label Empire Rose in this year’s fashion parades.
Empire Rose designer Kathryn Cizeika draws upon her Eastern European heritage as the inspiration for her beautiful collections.
With this year’s fashion parade theme being A touch of Whimsy, Kathryn's clothing, which has a focus on volume, texture, and playful romantic detailing, will arouse the senses and inspire with its poetic mysticism.
One of Australia's leading fashion designers, Charlie Brown, will also feature in this year’s parades.
Charlie Brown began her self-titled label in Australia in 1995.
Her designs are sexy, playful, beautifully constructed and tailored.
As the label moved from strength-to-strength her "Princess Charlotte" red carpet collection launched in 2000.
Charlie Brown has a reputation for being clever, creative, bold and brave, and Ms Hall is excited to bring a selection of her designs to Woolorama this year.
In line with the theme of "Whimsy", there is an exciting and stunning collection of modern and vintage wedding gowns from Great Southern country women.
A selection of wedding gowns from the early 1900s, to the 50s and 70s, and up until last year will feature in the parades.
With regular contributors as well as Daneechi Swimwear, and G-Star menswear, there will be something for everyone.
Be inspired, be entertained, and enjoy the experience.
