Children have fun at tennis

23 Feb, 2012 11:45 AM
THE tennis courts of Wagin have come alive again with junior social tennis taking place on Friday afternoons.

Children who attend enjoy a great friendly, fun game of tennis.

“If successful we would like to keep it running on a Friday night,” co-ordinator Cam Clifton said.

His daughter Olivia said the reason she liked tennis was because it was fun and she got to see her friends.

Mr Clifton said it was a great way to get the children involved in sports at a young age and to show them that it was not just about winning but also about participating and having fun as well.
