Swimmers demonstrate their hard work

LAST weekend, some members of the Wagin Swimming Club took part in two swim meets.

On Saturday, December 10, a team of six swimmers competed in the Victoria Park Christmas Carnival.

All swimmers did very well and together over the day they managed to record nine personal best times collectively.

The swimming competition continued on Sunday, December 11, with 17 swimmers from Wagin competing in the 19th Narrogin Open Carnival.

This was a great day for all of swimmers to demonstrate all of the hard work they have been doing with their training and collectively they recorded a massive 35 personal best times.

There were also a number of medal winners on the day – congratulations to Thalia and Jackson Davidson and Yvonne Pangler on their achievements.

Swimming training will continue over the summer school holidays.
