DUE to the Christmas and New Year break and the conclusion of a longer than normal harvest due to disruptive weather conditions, there is little to report from the Kukerin Bowls Club, however some of the travellers have had success away.
P and B Davidson and G and D Smith won an open mixed fours event at Dumbleyung on January 1.
I and C Faulkner teamed up with the Dumbleyung pairing of C Henry and H Gooding to come runners-up.
Next Sunday, January 22, there will be organised social bowls from 2pm.
