The picture perfect weather along with the magnificent green ensured the title was hotly contested and from all reports some excellent games were played.

Well done to Owen Dare who has worked tirelessly on the green all season.

Lo Henry and Gary Bateup set the standard early, landing on the kitty and putting the pressure on their opponents and continued their impressive form the following day remaining undefeated going into the finals.

Clem Henry and Bob Hannah made it through to the final after only losing one game.

Lo Henry and Gary Bateup’s confidence was sky high going into the final, however Hannah and Clem Henry were fighting hard and the scores were level halfway through.

However it was the undefeated team of Lo Henry and Gary Bateup who prevailed to take out the pairs championships for the 2009/2010 season.
