There was some close games of tennis in both pools which made for some long games.

Michelle Carew-Reid and Eric Gossage were clear winners in their pool, winning all their games while Derryn Edwards and Scott Angwin won on a countback from Howie Ward and Rachael Filmer.

The final was close with Carew-Reid and Gossage winning six games to five.

Next weekend’s tennis is social from 2pm, please note the change from the fixtures which state a 3pm start.

There will be a hot dog tea to follow.
