 Woolorama a resounding success

Woolorama a resounding success

11 Mar, 2010 02:47 PM
THIS year’s Wagin Woolorama saw 20,800 people come through the gates over the two days.

There were 8000 people on Friday with numbers slightly up on last year and 12,800 through on Saturday, where numbers were reportedly slightly down.

The Wagin Police said they had little trouble resulting in arrests associated with Woolorama.

Sergeant Paul Lydiate said it was a very successful Woolorama on their part.

Trade fair exhibitor numbers were good with good reports from businesses.

Wagin Woolorama is heavily reliant on the support and assistance from the many volunteers involved all over the grounds in the lead up to, during and after the event.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this years show the success that it was.

The Wagin Argus will publish more results and photographs from this year’s Wagin Woolorama in next week’s edition.
