LONGSTANDING Waratah Lodge volunteer and past committee member Richard White and outgoing chairperson Diane Davidson were treated to a thank you dinner last week.
Waratah board members and their partners attended the dinner and seized the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts put in by Richard and Dianne.
Richard was thanked for many years of volunteer work, past committee duties and his tireless maintenance work around Waratah.
No matter how big or small the job was, he was always on call to assist where necessary.
Diane was commended for the exceptional job done in her time in the chair with mention to her efforts co-ordinating the recent extensions of Waratah, which went far beyond what was required of her role.
Richard and Diane thanked the board members for the acknowledgements and their partners for “putting up with them” during their time with Waratah.
