A woman has been charged with receival of stolen goods.

Wagin Police are investigating the break-ins and hope to charge others involved and locate other stolen property.

Sergeant Paul Lydiate said police would like to hear from anyone with information no matter how small and insignificant it might appear to be.

“Please tell us if you have any information at all, you might just give us the piece of the jigsaw we are looking for,” he said.

“All information that is given to us will be treated in the strictest confidence.”

Wagin Police are targeting drink drive offenders and Sgt Lydiate has warned people that if they drink then drive they will be prosecuted.

“No matter who you are, if you drink and drive we will apprehend you, we will target these people and the places they drink at,” Sgt Lydiate said.

Wagin Police have received reports of juveniles shooting at property, animals and other students with slingshots.

Sgt Lydiate said it is an offence to be in possession of a slingshot, destroy property, assault people or hurt animals and anyone found breaking these laws would be charged.
