Students dress up for literacy week

08 Sep, 2010 01:48 PM
THE Kukerin Primary School (KPS) Literacy and Numeracy Week event called Learning and Living in Literacy at KPS on Thursday, September 2 went very successfully.

The students looked fantastic in their Book Week character costumes, as did the staff.

A costume parade was held in the morning followed by rotational activities related to literacy and numeracy, including progressive story writing, alphabet toss and play, heads and tails and a large snakes and ladders game.

This was concluded with a sausage sizzle during lunch time.
