Oliver family descendents reunited in Lake Grace

19 Nov, 2009 03:24 PM
A FAMILY reunion was held in Lake Grace for descendents of William George Ralph and Martha Oliver.

William and Martha’s three older boys served in World War I and the medals of two of those were returned to be donated to the Lake Grace Returned Services League by Ken Francis (William and Martha’s great grandson) who decided those medals would be framed.

About 60 relatives attended the reunion and all present had lunch, which gradually morphed into tea.

This provided a wonderful opportunity to upgrade the family tree.
