AFTER many years of service to the community through Galts Hardware, Trevor Parsons and Brenton Barker have sold the business to locals Dane Tulley and Wade Longmuir.
Mr Parsons said Galts Hardware had a very proud history and he was pleased Mr Tulley and Mr Longmuir had taken up the reins.
“We are very happy that the guys have taken over the business and wish them all the best for their future at Galts,” Mr Parsons said.
“Before we took on the business Galts Hardware had only had two owners and we are very pleased that two local blokes have taken it on.”
Mr Tulley is looking forward to the challenge of running the business with Mr Longmuir and hopes customers will be patient with them.
“We are glad that we have been able to take on this business and we are looking forward to a strong future for our business partnership,” Mr Tulley said.
“I am looking forward to seeing old and new friends in the shop just as long as they understand this is all new to us.”
