JENNY Stroud and her husband Rick have been in Wagin for just over a month after the decision for a change in lifestyle lead them here.
“The job was accidental – we came for a weekend visit to Wagin, liked what we saw and decided to see what work was available,” Mrs Stroud said.
“We opened the local paper and saw the job advertised and I decided to apply because I had previous experience.”
Mrs Stroud said she and her husband had settled in to Wagin life easily.
“I’ve already joined an exercise group and found Care and Share – I’m very interested in craft and sewing in particular,” she said.
“Rick loves swimming and hopes to join the Wagin Cricket Club.
“We really like Wagin – everyone is friendly and helpful.
“There appears to be quite a lot to do too – I’ve already had to cut some things out of my week because I can’t fit it all in.
“We are glad we made the move here, everything so far has fallen into place.”
