 Murray wins Big Bog-Off

Murray wins Big Bog-Off

23 Feb, 2012 11:30 AM
LAST Thursday Elders Wagin hosted its post-harvest client drinks.

The event was held in lieu of a Christmas party, due to the extended 2011-12 harvest period.

The night also provided an opportunity to showcase the entries in the Argus’ Big Bog-Off competition.

With a pile of funny photos on display, Wagin resident Murray Gell was drawn out as the winner of $500 worth of Elders merchandise.

The night was also a fantastic opportunity to honour long-serving Elders employee Bill Richards.

Having worked at the Wagin branch for 40 years, Bill was presented with an award and 40-year service tie for his efforts and dedication to the business.

Elders branch manager Fiona Kirk said Bill was a big asset not only to Elders, but to the whole community.

The event was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of harvest.
