THERE is now a Keystart Country Housing Loan Centre in Lake Grace.
Keystart and the Country Housing Authority have joined forces to improve quality housing in rural, regional and remote WA.
In conjunction with this new alliance, the Country Broker Program is being trialled in Lake Grace to help farmers, retired farmers and rural employers/businesses to utilise a variety of loan products available to them.
Pat O’Neill is the local broker for the program.
Pat has called his farm in Tarin Rock home for 57 years and has recently completed a certificate IV in financial services to become a licensed financial broker.
He grew up on the family farm and, other than a short stint away from home when he attended Bindoon Agricultural College (formally known as Keaney College, his life has revolved around farming and small communities.
After he returned from college he managed to purchase part of his family farm and has been farming ever since.
Pat is keen to help improve the standard of housing in the country and can provide information and assistance with the Keystart Country Home Loan service, which is relevant to farmers, retired farmers, and rural employers/businesses seeking housing finance.
Pat understands the needs of country people and the importance of quality housing in the country.
