GLEN Jakovich is a special VIP guest at Woolorama next Friday, thanks to Landmark.
Dean Cox was confirmed to attend but the West Coast Eagles advised he was required for club duties and therefore a replacement has been arranged.
Only a football legend of the stature of Glen Jakovich could fill Cox’s big shoes.
Jakovich will arrive at about 3pm and go straight to the Landmark Baaa new entertainment zone where he will officially open the area, sign autographs and tell some football stories.
Then he will be the special guest at the inaugural Landmark Sundowner for invited VIP customers, which is being held in the members bar at 4.30pm on Friday.
The Landmark Baa is a new relaxation spot designed in response to the Woolorama committee’s market research after last year’s Woolorama.
Landmark’s great southern regional manager Steve Wright said Landmark was a long-standing Woolorama partner and they were delighted to support the committee and respond to the community’s request for a new family-friendly area for Woolorama patrons to relax and enjoy themselves.
“We’re bringing this together with another of our great partnerships – country football,” Mr Wright said.
“We’re celebrating our 35th year of sponsoring Landmark WA Country Football Championships and our investment of over $1.3 million.
“So we’ve asked Glen Jakovich to help us celebrate this milestone by meeting the Woolorama attendees, signing some autographs, telling a few stories and officially opening the new Landmark Baa.”
